The Tournament system in Sipher Odyssey provides an exciting competitive experience where the top Arena players can showcase their vessels in automated AI battles while all players can participate through betting mechanics.
Tournament Structure
The tournament follows a standard elimination bracket format:
Qualification: Top 64 players by Arena combat power qualify automatically
Elimination Rounds:
Round of 64: 32 matches, winners advance to Round of 32
Round of 32: 16 matches, winners advance to Round of 16
Round of 16: 8 matches, winners advance to Quarter-finals
Final Rounds:
Quarter-finals (Round of 8): 4 matches
Semi-finals (Round of 4): 2 matches
Finals: 1 match to determine the champion
Participation Mechanics
For Qualified Players
Players receive notification when selected for tournament
Formation is initially auto-selected based on Arena setup
Players can modify their team composition up to 30 minutes before the tournament begins
Teams fight automatically through AI control
Tournament formations are separate from main game formations
For All Players
Everyone can view tournament progress
All players can participate through the betting system
Watch replays of completed matches
View the Hall of Champions after tournament conclusion
Betting System
The betting feature allows all players to engage with the tournament:
Betting Mechanics
Players can bet on any match outcome once per match
Betting uses RAM (premium currency)
Bet amounts vary by round, increasing as the tournament progresses
All bets form a prize pool for each match
Rewards Calculation
Rewards are calculated based on betting ratios
Winners receive their bet back plus a percentage of the losing side's bets (minus 5% fee)
If betting is heavily skewed (95%+ on one side), winners still receive a minimum 5% return
Losers may receive a consolation prize (e.g., Glimmering Keys)

Players receive rewards based on performance:
Tournament participants earn rewards based on how far they advance
Higher placements offer increasingly valuable prizes
All rewards are delivered via in-game mail
Betting winners receive RAM payouts based on betting pool and odds
Tournament Schedule
Tournaments occur monthly
Qualification is determined by Arena rankings at the end of each month
Specific tournament dates are announced in advance
