Sipher Fragpunk is an innovative PvP game mode that combines strategic team augment selection with fast-paced arena combat. Before and during battles, teams vote on powerful augments that can dramatically alter gameplay mechanics, creating a unique "Theory Crafting Game" that precedes the "Action Game." This dual-layer strategic experience makes each match unpredictable and highly replayable.
Best of 3 (BO3) format - first team to win 2 rounds wins the match
Each round begins with a Team Augment voting phase
Combat phase follows with all selected augments active
Rounds are played with fresh point resets (0)
Personal augments from gear reset between rounds
Team augments from previous rounds remain active
Each team member receives mana at the start of selection phases:
Initial phase: 2 mana per team member
Second phase: 2 additional mana plus any unspent mana
Teams are presented with 3 augment cards to choose from
Teams can see opponents' available augment options (but not their voting)
Augments require specific mana investments to activate:
Multi-mana augments: Require total team investment to activate
Amplifiable augments: Activate at 1 mana, additional mana increases power
Mana management is critical - unspent mana carries over to the next selection phase
Real-time display of teammates' mana investments
Player's own mana investments highlighted in green
Ability to withdraw invested mana before timer ends
Card reroll option (costs 1 mana)
Cannot reroll cards that already have mana invested
