The Generisium system in Sipher Odyssey allows players to create new vessels and extract shards from existing ones, forming the foundation of the vessel collection and progression experience.
When beginning your Sipher Odyssey journey, you'll choose one of three starter vessels:
Inu Canis
Neko Felis
Buru Tribal
Each starter vessel comes with a fixed set of starting boosts that remain consistent even if you reset your account. To obtain the other starter vessels or create additional copies of your chosen vessel, you'll need to collect the appropriate EM Shards.
Each sub-race has its own unique EM Shards (character-specific shards). For example:
Inu Canis Shards can only be used to create Inu Canis vessels
Neko Felis Shards can only be used to create Neko Felis vessels
These shards can be acquired through:
Capsules
Mission rewards
First-time dungeon completions
Events and leaderboard competitions
Rare drops from bosses and elite enemies
Daily or weekly quests specific to each vessel type
When creating a new vessel, several attributes are randomly generated:
Boosts:
1 boost from the Race's Boost Pool
2 boosts from the General Boost Pool (shared among all races)
3 boosts from the Sub-race's Boost Pool
Higher rarity boosts have a lower chance of being selected compared to common ones.
Stats: Stats are randomized within a range specific to the vessel's sub-race.
Equipment: Each sub-race has a default loadout that is automatically equipped when a new vessel is created.
Players can also obtain fully generated vessels by opening Vessel Capsules, though the chance is very small. These vessels come pre-generated with random boosts and stats.
The Shard Extraction system allows players to convert existing vessels into EM Shards of the same sub-race, providing an alternative path to create new vessels with potentially better boosts.
Select an existing vessel to extract shards from
Use Vessel Shards as the primary resource for extraction
Wait for the extraction process to complete
Extraction requires Vessel Shards (1:1 conversion rate to EM Shards)
Vessels undergoing extraction cannot be used for other activities
Players can extract from up to 2 vessels simultaneously
The extraction process can be canceled, allowing players to claim any completed shards
Different rarity shards have the same extraction time (15 minutes per shard)
Vessel Shards are the primary material for shard extraction and can be obtained through:
Dungeon rewards
Mission completions
Season Pass
Loot boxes
The rarity of Vessel Shard required matches the rarity of the EM Shard being extracted:
Uncommon EM Shard ← Uncommon Vessel Shard
Rare EM Shard ← Rare Vessel Shard
Epic EM Shard ← Epic Vessel Shard
Legendary EM Shard ← Legendary Vessel Shard
The Generisium system provides strategic depth to vessel collection, allowing players to balance between using existing vessels and extracting them for the chance to create potentially more powerful ones with better boost combinations.
